Wallet in the Walls

Last week, we told you about historic discoveries being made
during the renovations at Appalachian Cinema in downtown Boone.
A wallet with an ID card for
Anna Lee Greer of Deep Gap was discovered.
Also in the wallet was a driver's license, issued
in 1945 for Norma Anna Lee Greer, born 6-11-1927.
In the back of the wallet was a paycheck stub
for Herman Greene, issued by construction company E. W. Grannis. For 40 hours of work, Greene
collected $26.30 after taxes.
