Two Rivers named ‘Honor School of Excellence’

Two Rivers Community School, a public charter school located in Watauga County, has earned “Honor School of Excellence” status for the 2011-12 academic year.
It is one of only two schools in the county to achieve the highest ranking based on composite performance scores on the state end-of-grade tests.
This is the second consecutive year the school has earned this rating. It has been in operation for eight years.
Blowing Rock Elementary School also achieved the honor school ranking.
