Mountain Alliance auctions ASU football package
Mountain Alliance, an organization at Watauga High School, is auctioning off a unique Mountaineer football package.
"Featuring tickets, food, transportation and more, this package is perfect for a family or group of friends," a spokesperson for the Mountain Alliance said.
The package includes 10 tickets to the Sept. 11 season opener at Kidd Brewer Stadium, pregame sideline passes, transportation to and from the game, a catered tailgate for 10 people from Earth Fare, a $100 gift certificate to Peabody's Wine and Beer Merchants and ASU football memorabilia.
"It's a tremendous opportunity for Appalachian fans to kick off another season of Mountaineer football while supporting our local youth," said Todd Nolt, director of Mountain Alliance.
"It's great for a group of individuals to go in on together and be treated like VIPs," Nolt said.
Getting around Boone on game days is often a lengthy and frustrating ordeal. "We are excited to offer not only the 10 tickets to the game, but also transportation to and from the game to make game day much less stressful," he said.
The current bid for the package is $200. Bidding takes place at http://www.mountainalliance.org.
