Blue Ridge Ear, Nose and Throat Inc. (BRENT) is pleased to announce the first annual Hear for the Holidays contest. 

The practice is seeking someone in The Mountain Times readership area who would most benefit from a free pair of hearing aids and follow-up services.

To enter the contest, submit an essay, in 1,000 words or less, stating who you would like to nominate for consideration and how that individual would benefit from hearing aids and from services provided by BRENT audiologist, Dr. Mary Markovich, and, if necessary, by Dr. Charles Ford or Dr. Andrew Lehr. All entries must be received by Nov. 24.

The top five essays, based on financial need, degree of hearing impairment, and quality of the essays, will be published, and the readers of The Mountain Times will choose who they think will benefit most from the hearing aids. Readers will be able to vote on Nov. 25.
