Hear for the Holidays has a winner

Blue Ridge Ear, Nose and Throat Inc. and The Mountain Times would like to congratulate Veronica Brocco, Nominee C, as the recipient of the free hearing aids and services for this year's Hear for the Holidays contest.

Four applicant essays were submitted a few weeks ago, and the readers of The Mountain Times were asked to choose whom they felt could benefit most from the hearing aids and all follow-up services.

Brocco was notified on Dec. 8, and she said that she was humbled to have been chosen for this priceless gift. Brocco's hearing was evaluated on Dec. 20, and she was then fit with a pair of Resound Alera hearing aids. She was amazed at the comfort of the hearing aids and the clear sound quality. She is looking forward to having the hearing aids for the holiday season.
