Get Your Sticker On!

Ever been driving off the mountain (not off a mountain, but rather in a region other than the High Country), when you noticed a bumper sticker from home?

It's a good feeling, a proud feeling, one that makes you want to pull aside your fellow traveler and give a friendly "Hey, I'm from there, too" wave, preferably without endangering other motorists.
So, here's what's happening.

Over the last few weeks, we've been distributing Mountain Times bumper stickers, bearing our initials and an instant touch of class to anything that wears one.

And it gets better. By displaying your MT pride, you're instantly eligible to win a free meal at one of the High Country's many swell restaurants. The rules are simple:

1. Simply slap on that sticker.
2. Take a photo of said sticker on your car, bag, computer, guitar case, child, etc.
3. Send that photo to (frank@mountaintimes.com) , along with contact information.
4. Look for your photo in an upcoming issue of The Mountain Times (We'll pick one each week).
5. If your photo's published, call (828) 264-NEWS to claim your prize.

It's as simple as that. Stickers are available at our office, located in the Watauga County Industrial Park at 474 Industrial Park Drive, or look for us at area events, happenings and general goings-on.

Chances are we'll be there, armed to the teeth with news paraphernalia, a can-do attitude and beaucoups of stickers. Just ask.
