After 15 years of business in the High Country, expansion seems only natural.
For The Dande Lion, it’s a perfect fit.
The women’s fine clothing store at The Shoppes at Tynecastle in Banner Elk has opened a new addition, The Dressing Room.
Dande Lion owner Jane Deavers called it a temporary sales center, “where you will find end-of-season fashions at markdown and clearance prices.”
And it’s located “just three doorknobs down,” she said, from The Dande Lion and its sister store, Shooz & Shiraz.
“The temporary space offers customers a last chance opportunity to purchase select quality merchandise at great prices in one convenient location,” Deavers said.
The Dressing Room will remain open through the end of October, she said, adding that the new space opens up more room in her other stores for new arrivals.
“Customers will be delighted,” Deavers said.
The Dressing Room will keep limited hours, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays, although the Dande Lion and Shooz & Shiraz will remain open on Sundays throughout the season.
The Shoppes at Tynecastle are located at the intersection of N.C. 105 and Tynecastle Highway (N.C. 194). For more information, call The Dande Lion at (828) 898-3566 or visit http://www.dandelionstyles.com
