Caregivers host Trivia Night Challenge Oct. 1

The High Country Caregiver Foundation will host its sixth Trivia Night Challenge Oct. 1 at La Quinta Inns and Suites at 165 N.C. 105 Ext. in Boone.

The event is billed as a fun-filled evening during which community members and businesses match wits and trivia knowledge, while helping to raise funds and awareness for the High Country Caregiver Foundation.

The High Country Caregiver Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create awareness of caregiving issues and improve the quality of life for caregivers and those they care for through advocacy, information and referral, education, emotional support and respite services.

The Trivia Challenge will consist of teams of six to 10 people who will test their general trivia knowledge in categories such as geography, sports, entertainment, music, pop culture, history, arts and sciences and literature. The overall winning team will receive a trophy, prizes and bragging rights.

Admission fee of $20 per person includes food, beverages, cash bar, entertainment and snacks.
This casual, fun night offers raffles, prizes, food, drinks and plenty of laughs.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a reception that gives everyone a chance to buy raffle tickets for prizes and meet this year’s sponsor.

The Trivia Challenge begins at 7 p.m.
