Burton earns awards for photography
Jonathan Burton of Jonathan Burton Photography in Boone was awarded the Fujifilm Masterpiece Award for photographic excellence.
Burton received the award from the Professional Photographers of North Carolina for the photograph, "Rendezvous," in the portrait category.
This award is the highest honor any photographic manufacturer awards for photography. Fujifilm North America Corp. is the U.S. marketing subsidiary of Fujifilm Co. Ltd. of Tokyo, a leading manufacturer of imaging and information products.

The Gallery Awards are judged on a state or regional basis, with winners going on to compete at the national level for the Gallery Elite Award. Gallery Awards are presented throughout the year, at annual Professional Photographers of America (PPA) regional and state conventions - in addition to those events' customary awards.
