Blazing Saddles Inc. will hold its first annual "Beat the Blues with Blazing Saddles"
benefit concert, featuring blues musician and songwriter Terry Garland at Lees-McRae College's Hayes
Auditorium Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets went on sale Oct. 12 at the Hayes Auditorium
box office, which can be contacted at (828) 898-8709, and are available through Blazing Saddles
volunteers by calling (828) 295-3335. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students and
children.
The money raised at the concert will directly benefit Blazing Saddles Inc. and aid
in its belief that no rider should be turned away based on their inability to pay.
Blazing
Saddles Inc. is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that has served children and adults with a
range of special needs through equestrian therapy for more than 23 years. As a non-profit 501(c) (3)
organization, Blazing Saddles is entirely funded by charitable donations and is an agency of the
High Country United Way.
