Banner Elk Winery wins gold

Banner Elk Winery was awarded two gold medals for its 2011
Marechal Foch and 2011 Banner Elk Red, as well as a bronze medal for its 2011 Banner Elk White, at
the 2013 International Eastern Wine Competition.
The competition was held Feb. 12 in Sonoma
County, Calif.
“We are thrilled to have received such high praise for our wines from this
international competition,” said Michelle Crevier-Gerukos, a partner in Banner Elk Winery. “Vintner
Jeff Walker continues to raise the standards for wines produced in the High Country.”
