Director of
Accounting and Finance

Major Function:
As a working “hands-on” Director of Accounting and Finance, to assess organizational performance against the annual budget and long-term strategy as set forth by the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors, working with the COO/GM and Directors of Departments to coordinate these efforts.

Comprehensive Duties:
Develop Tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the COO/GM and make recommendations on strategy and operations; Engage the COO/GM, Finance Committee, Board of Directors, Audit, and Investment Committees around issues, trends, and changes in operation model; Develop long term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with Hound Ears strategic financial development; Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements; Manage cash flow and forecasting; Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions and strategic alliances; Must have excellent analytical skills and communication skills with the ability to make presentations to member groups, committees, and boards.

Minimum Education Requirements:
◆ Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance
◆ 5 years of Broad Finance experience
◆ Some experience with Country Clubs, Hotels, or Resorts a plus
◆ Licensed CPA
