‘Wonderland’ at Broyhill Civic
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s J.E.
Broyhill Civic Center and Foothills Performing Arts will present “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”
April 3 to 6. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m.
On Saturday, April 5, the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center Catering Group will host “Alice’s Tea Party,” with dinner prior to the show at 6:15 p.m.
The play is based on the book by Lewis Carroll and adapted for the stage by Mark Allen Woodard. The local players of Foothills Performing Arts will lead audience members down the rabbit hole, as they present this beloved classic tale of fantasy and wonder.
“Alice’s Tea Party,” presented by the JEBCC Catering Group will feature chef-carved smoked turkey breast, mini rolls and cranberry aioli, fruit and raw vegetable displays with dips, chicken salad puffs, assorted scones, assorted finger sandwiches and canapés, assorted mini cheesecakes, chocolate strawberries and truffles. Chicken tenders and dips will be available for children. A variety of cold and hot teas with condiments will also be served.
