It's Christmas... in Blowing Rock III
Modeled after the Bing Crosby and Perry Como Christmas specials of yesteryear, Ensemble Stage's 'Christmas in Blowing Rock III' hits the Blowing Rock School Auditorium stage Dec. 16, 17 and 18.
Ensemble Stage presents its highly anticipated annual variety
show, “Christmas in Blowing Rock III,” Dec. 16 to 18.

The
musical variety show is patterned after the Bing Crosby and Perry Como televised Christmas programs
of the ’60s and ’70s, and this year’s host is Rusty Page of Linville.
Directed by Gary
Smith and choreographed by Shauna Godwin, the cast includes: Will Allen, Rebecca Booth, Leah
England, Steve Frank, Derek Gagnier, Maureen Klinedinst, Stephen Redmon-Byrum, Melissa Tausche, Maya
Cook, Sidney Ginn, Michael Navarro, India Roseman, Max Schlenker, Matthew Shaw, Savannah Troyer and
Vincent Troyer.
"Christmas in Blowing Rock, III" is a family-friendly program full of
Christmas stories, silly skits, songs and dancing that organizers hope will delight audiences of all
ages. Little ones in the audience will also have an opportunity to participate in the
fun.
"We've had a great year at Ensemble Stage, and we look forward to presenting this
high-energy show," artistic director Gary Smith said. “It gets bigger and better every time we do
it. Who knows, it might even snow on stage this year.”
