'Hooray for Hollywood'

‘Hooray for Hollywood’ is coming to Wilkesboro Feb. 8, taking its audience on a nostalgic journey through the most popular movie musicals of the last 50 years.

The Walker Center, on the campus of Wilkes Community College, will present “Hooray for Hollywood” on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.

“Hooray for Hollywood” takes a nostalgic journey through the most popular movie musicals of the last 50 years. This show features a cast of singers and dancers, live music and more than 300 costume changes. The audience can expect film clips of movie favorites, like “Singing in the Rain” and “The Glenn Miller Story” to “Grease,” “Dirty Dancing” and “Titanic.”

“Hooray for Hollywood” sings and dances its way through more than 30 songs, including “Staying Alive,” “All That Jazz,” “Dancing Queen,” “Jailhouse Rock” and many more.
