‘Dracula’ in Blowing Rock
Ensemble Stage brings ‘Dracula’ to Blowing Rock with a live, staged radio drama Oct. 30.
Ensemble Stage will present its third annual live radio drama, “Dracula,” at the Blowing Rock School Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30.
“We’ve developed a script based on three variations of the classic story,” said artistic director Gary Smith. “The stage will be transformed into a radio studio like those of the ’30s and ’40s, complete with sound effects created by the actors.”
To add to the enjoyment, “Dracula” will feature many High Country celebrities, he said.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids 16 and younger and can be purchased at the door, online at http://www.ensemblestage.com, or by calling the box office at (828) 414-1844.
