Wolf Creek performs Oct. 1
Wolf Creek performs Oct. 1 in Blowing Rock.
Blowing Rock’s Ensemble Stage presents mountain music-makers
Wolf Creek in concert Oct. 1.
The show stats at 7:30 p.m. at the Blowing Rock School
auditorium.
“Concerts are especially good in our small, intimate theater setting,” Ensemble
artistic director Gary Smith said. “Earlier this year, we produced a Channing and Quinn concert, and
it was a real hit with our audiences. Wolf Creek offers an eclectic blend of bluegrass, classic
country, blues and rock ’n’ roll and will surely be a crowd pleaser.”
According to Tim
Stafford of Blue Highway and Allison Krauss & Union Station, “Wolf Creek is an exciting new
group from the ‘Bluegrass Heartland,’ but they don’t just play bluegrass. Driving, inventive,
instrumental work, heartfelt and dead-on vocals, these boys have it all.”
Tickets cost $10
and can be purchased at http://www.ensemblestage.com, at the door, or by calling the box office at (828)
414-1844. The Blowing Rock School auditorium is located on Sunset Drive in downtown Blowing
Rock.
