Swift Technique returns to Boone for a Sept. 23 performance.

Swift Technique, hailed as Philly’s most explosive funk,
soul and live hip-hop band, will be returning to Boone Saturday, Sept.
23.
Swift debuted at Boone Saloon this summer and will return to join local
artists Bubonic Funk. Most recently, Swift Technique supported Big Sam’s Funky Nation at The 8x10 in
Baltimore, Md.
Swift Technique is a blend of James Brown, Led Zeppelin, The Red
Hot Chili Peppers and The Roots. Equipped with a three-piece horn section, the group has come
together to create something that uniquely represents their hometown of
Philadelphia.
After opening for Wu-Tang Clan, Kermit Ruffins, Keri Hilson,
Wale, ?uestlove, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Mr. Lif and others during the last two years, the group has
established itself as one of the premier live bands on the East Coast.
Swift
Technique will be hitting the stage at Boone Saloon, located at 489 W. King St. in downtown Boone,
at 9 p.m. Sept. 23.
