String faculty and friends perform at ASU

The Hayes School of Music string faculty and friends will perform Tuesday, March 5, at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall at Appalachian State University. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Performing are Nancy Bargerstock, violin; Chung Park, violin; Eric Koontz, viola; Kenneth Lurie, cello; Kay Borkowski, flute; Andrea Cheeseman, clarinet; and Jacquelyn Bartlett, harp.

They will perform “Serenade in D, Opus 25” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Three Madrigals for Violin and Viola” by Bohuslav Martinu and “Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet and String Quartet” by Maurice Ravel.
