Punch Brothers hit Farthing Feb. 17
Punch Brothers perform Feb. 17 at Farthing Auditorium.
Punch Brothers, featuring Chris Thile, will perform Feb. 17 in
Boone, as part of Appalachian State University’s 2011-12 Performing Arts Series.
The band’s a
new album, “Who’s Feeling Young Now?” will be released Feb. 14, making Farthing the first stop on
the Brothers’ “Who’s Feeling Young Now?” tour.
The band was formed in 2006 by mandolin
player/singer Chris Thile with four other virtuosic musicians: fiddler Gabe Witcher, banjo player
Noam Pikelny, bassist Paul Kowert and guitarist Chris “Critter” Eldridge.

perform at ASU’s Farthing Auditorium, located at 733 Rivers St. on the ASU campus in Boone, on
Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m.
