Now splitting time between Raleigh and Boone, No Eyes is planning a peek into Boone Saloon Thursday, May 3.

Doors open at 10 p.m., cover costs $5, and only those 21 and older will be admitted.

Forming in 2009, No Eyes was initially comprised of four Appalachian State University students.

Despite a couple of lineup changes, No Eyes continues to play for crowds from Raleigh to Boone and everywhere in between, featuring Mike Blow on bass, Nick Kirkland on guitar, Andrew Manson on guitar and Reid Watson.

Hailed for its catchy melodies and intertwining guitar riffs, the band is also celebrated for its bluesy and psychedelic atmosphere.

Guided by Bong Rips, featuring members of Boone’s Naked Gods and Cloverbuds, will open.

Boone Saloon is located at 489 W. King St. in downtown Boone. For more information, visit http://www.boonesaloon.com.
