Jones House finishes Concert on the Lawn Series

Friday marks the last Jones House Concert on the Lawn for the 2010 season.

"We are sad and happy," Watauga Art Council's Mark Freed said.

The jamming stats at 5 p.m. with local pickers, The Harris Brothers.

"The Harris Brothers are two of the most talented musicians I have ever heard in the High Country," Freed said. "They are truly nothing short of amazing."

Think acoustic mastery with expert vocals.

At 5:45, Crys Matthews rounds things out with some soul.

"Crys Mathews used to live in Boone but has since moved to the west coast," Freed said. "She is a very soulful singer and a good songwriter."
