Corey Smith returns to Boone
Country rocker Corey Smith will perform March 20 at Legends in Boone.
Country rocker Corey Smith returns to Boone Wednesday, March 20, for the first time in two years.
Since the last time Smith played in Boone, he has released a new album, “Live in Chattanooga,” where he performs a combination of songs from all of his past albums. According to concert organizers, patrons attending the March 20 show will hear a few – if not many – of the songs on this album.
Smith was named one of country music’s hottest new artists and Music Row Magazine and was featured on the cover of Pollstar as a Hotstar Top Artist. He has hundreds of sold-out performances under his belt and a dedicated fan-base. In the past five years, Smith has played 700 shows across the nation, grossing $9 million in revenue.
His March 20 performance takes place at Appalachian State University’s Legends Music Hall on Hardin Street. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for ASU students in advance and $20 the day of the show and for general admission. Legends features a BYOB six-pack limit policy.
