The Watauga Community Band will perform its fall concert Sunday, Oct. 20.

The concert will start at 3 p.m. in Rosen Concert Hall in the Broyhill Music Center on the campus of Appalachian State University.

The band, under the direction of Bill Winkler, will be performing such pieces as Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Rhosymedre” and “What a Wonderful World” by George David Weiss and Bob Thiele.

Some fun pieces, such as “Bayou Breakdown” by Brant Karric and John Williams’ “Fantasy of Flight,” which is an arrangement of Williams’ most popular movie themes, are also included in the program. This concert is free, and all are invited to join in the afternoon of music.

The Broyhill Music Center is located on Rivers Street on the ASU campus.
