‘Christmas in the Mountains’ concert
Amy Marie Young returns to the High Country Dec. 17 for a holiday concert in Mountain City, Tenn.
Amy Marie Young, long-time performer in Blowing Rock’s Monday Night Concert Series (MNCS) in the Broyhill Park, will peform Dec.17 at Heritage Hall in Mountain City, Tenn.
Young has been living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two years and will perform this one night only over the holidays.
While in Argentina, Young has been traveling extensively and working as a music teacher at an international school. She plans to make a couple of appearances in Blowing Rock for the 2012 concert series.
“Christmas in the Mountains,” led by guitarist and vocalist John T. Woodall, will feature a variety of performers, including pianist Steve Sensenig of the Barter Theatre in Abington, Va., Elvis impersonator Andy Woodall and jazz singer Amy Woodall, another performer in the Blowing Rock concert series.
This family show will feature classic Christmas music and original works by the artists.
