App Studies to host musical fundraiser March 3

The Center for Appalachian Studies at Appalachian State University is hosting a concert to benefit student scholarships on Wednesday, March 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. in I. G. Greer Auditorium on campus.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets will be sold at the door. Advanced tickets are on sale in room 109 of the Living Learning Center's academic wing, located off Bodenheimer Drive.

Proceeds will go toward scholarships for undergraduates and graduate students in the Appalachian Studies program.

Featured performers include The Sheets Family, Susan Pepper, Trevor McKenzie and the Black Lick Plow Pushers, the Coty Hogue and Rebecca Jones duo, the Jesse Edgerton and Meredith Doster Edgerton duo and others.
