The Armed Forces Tribute office started formal office hours
on Tuesday, July 1. They are open from 9 am until 5 pm. Since
it is next door to the Chamber, if someone is not at the office,
they can pick up the same forms and information from the Chamber.
One of last year's banner's is hung in the front window to let
everyone know who drives by that they are there!
Betsy Reeves, county Veteran's Officer, has also agreed to have
forms at her office for pick up/drop off. The ones the office
will benefit are those hundreds of veterans who are not in any
of the local organizations (DAV, VFW or American Legion) or
who are not receiving benefits, plus the active who are serving
now.
A few things are really needed to finish out and make the office
fully functional, so if there is anything on the list that you
can loan us or know of someone you can approach to help us with
by having them donate it, please consider doing so.
