The Cellar at Vivo opens April 23
Vivo in Banner Elk announces the opening of The Cellar at Vivo, the restaurant's new wine bar and craft beer bistro.
Opening Friday, April 23, at 4 p.m., The Cellar at Vivo is offering reduced prices and specials to introduce its addition to the community and its visitors.
Located at 142 Main Street East in downtown Banner Elk, the Cellar extends Vivo's promise of using only the finest ingredients in food and drink, offering a bountiful selection of wines, carefully chosen craft beers, and a menu of savory tapas-sized taste sensations.
"Our focus is an overall wine experience, from the decor and stemware to an extensive wine list," co-owner Amanda Ficili said. "With 27 wines by the glass and bottles from around the world, we've created a destination for wine lovers."
The Cellar is the result of extensive research and development to produce a "Northern California style" wine bar of hand-hewn wood and a selection of wines to match. Vivo also has a catering service to bring its bistro to the home, office or gathering.
The Cellar at Vivo invites residents and visitors alike to join in the grand opening festivities, be it sampling microbrewed beer, tasting fine wines, or enjoying homemade tapas.
