Luck o’ the Lassie fundraiser March 14

Girls on the Run of the High Country will host its second annual Luck o’ the Lassie fundraising event from 6:30 to 9 p.m. March 14 at The Best Cellar, located at 203 Sunset Drive in Blowing Rock
Tickets are limited to 100 guests and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prices are $50 for one ticket or $75 for two.

All proceeds from the event will support the GOTR program.

The event features wine tasting, heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by the Best Cellar chefs and a live auction.

Auction items include Wells Fargo Golf Tournament tickets; Appalachian State University and Carolina Panthers football tickets; custom jewelry designed by Gaines Kiker; concert tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Keys and Chris Daughtry; Deer Valley Racket Club membership; Blowing Rock pool membership; and many other items.

Those attending are encouraged to dress in St. Patrick’s Day attire.
