Last Call for Outdoor Concerts!
SolDriven Train
The early part of October is known for many things in the High
Country. That’s when the changing leaves are at their most spectacular. And that’s when the days are
truly getting shorter and the nights are getting colder.
It’s also the final days for
outdoor music festivals here in the mountains. Fortunately, one of the last ones is also one of the
best.
The High Country MusicFest is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8 at the
High Country Fairgrounds, off of Roby Green Road, east of Boone near old U.S. 421.
The High
Country MusicFest will feature a wide array of musical genres, including blues, rock, jam band,
bluegrass, country and more.
Acts scheduled to appear include Eric Lindell, Evergreen,
Possum Jenkins, Sol Driven Train, the Mantras, Galaxy Jam, Big Daddy Love, the Part Time Blues Band
and The Native Sway.
Tickets & Camping
Tickets for the High Country MusicFest are $10 for Friday only, $15 for Saturday only, and $20 for both days. Tent camping for Friday and Saturday is $10, and RV camping with electric hookup is $40. To reserve camping sites, call Kenny Johnson at (828) 733-8060.
