The High Country High School Chorale hosts its Christmas concert Dec. 16.

The High Country High School Chorale will perform its Christmas choral concert on Thursday, Dec. 16.
This free performance will take place in Hayes School of Music in Rosen Concert Hall on the Appalachian State University campus, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The chorale is beginning its second year and is excited to share this evening of concert music with the community.

The repertoire includes "Festival Alleluia" by John Leavitt, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Chorale members include sopranos Callista Addis, Sarah Barry, Emily Cornett. Chloe Curtis, Madison Ezzell, Marjorie Hubert, Anna Jobe, Stephanie Richard and Meredith
Riggins; altos Anne Barbee, Hannah Bates, Leah Clemens, Christina Jobe, Lauren Jones, Nikki Karr, Ashton Kacsmaryk, Kathleen Mansure and Kaitlyn Rains; tenors Joshua Blavatt, Titus Casner, Joshua Ezzell, Elijah Hawley, Jon Kelley, James Moretz and Nathanael Rains; and basses Shepherd Barry, James Carson, James Ellington, Eric Griffin, Nathan Jones, Nathaniel Mikkola and Justin Moretz.
Dr. Pamela Hopton-Jones is the conductor of the High Country High School Chorale, and Laura Coston is the accompanist. Chorale assistants are Martha Draughn, Anderson Hall, Catie Hitzigrath, Anna Riggins and Robert Wicker. The advisory team includes Janet Bates, David Ellington, Angel Griffin and Barb Kelley.
