‘Hear for the Holidays’ contest returns

Blue Ridge Ear, Nose and Throat Inc. and The Mountain Times announce the second annual “Hear for the Holidays” contest.

The practice is seeking someone in The Mountain Times readership area who would most benefit from a free pair of hearing aids and follow-up services.

To enter the contest, submit an essay, in 500 words or less, stating who you would like to nominate for consideration and how that individual would benefit from hearing aids, courtesy of Resound, and from services provided by BRENT audiologist Dr. Mary Markovich. All entries must be submitted by Friday, Nov. 25.

The top essays, based on financial need, degree of hearing impairment and quality of the essay, will be published in The Mountain Times, allowing readers to choose who they think would benefit most from the hearing aids. The voting period opens Dec. 1.Essays may be submitted by:
