Good Boy!
Trainer John Quy will lead dog obedience classes at the Watauga Humane Society, starting Jan.
21.
Dogs love to be well behaved, and they look to their masters
for guidance.
So says the Watauga Humane Society, which is offering dogs and their
human pals two fun-filled – and indoor – winter canine behavior improvement classes, presented by
John Quy of Little Horse Creek Farm.
The first class, Dog Obedience Training, runs from 12:30
to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Jan. 21 and 28 and Feb. 4 and 11 at the Watauga Humane Society’s new Irma
Baker Lyons Adoption and Education Center. Registration costs $150 for dogs adopted from a shelter
or rescued, and $200 for all others.
The second class, Canine Good Citizen, runs from 12:30
to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 25, March 3, 10 and 17, also at the adoption and education center.
Registration costs $150 for dogs adopted from a shelter or rescued, and $200 for all
others.
A portion of proceeds from both classes will benefit the Watauga Humane Society. The
WHS Adoption and Education Center is located at 312 Paws Way in Boone. For more information, or to
