Nine former educators were honored during a special reception at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone in January.

From the tiny schoolhouse in Bethel to university campuses in Chapel Hill and Arizona, these dedicated teachers reflected on a lifetime of memories and the countless number of pupils they touched or inspired.

The teachers spent the afternoon indulging in snacks and sharing anecdotes and stories from years teaching.

A similar reception was held last year at Glenbridge to pay tribute to the center’s artists in residence.
