The Watauga Education Foundation’s annual Flapjack Flip fundraiser returns Dec. 7.

The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Watauga High School, located at 300 Go Pioneers Drive in Boone.

The breakfast of pancakes, sausage, country ham and homemade blueberry syrup will feature ingredients from local farmers and is endorsed by High Country Local First.

Music teachers and students from county schools will provide holiday musical accompaniment.
The Boone Service League will again offer its holiday market featuring local and handmade gifts, including accessories, clothing and crafts, with BSL receiving a portion of ticket proceeds. A raffle and silent auction are also planned.

The Watauga Education Foundation is a nonprofit that seeks to improve the educational experiences for Watauga County students. The organization offers grants and scholarships to students and teachers that promote innovative educational experiences.
