The Dan Klink Memorial Car Show pulls into Boone Saturday, June 15.

The Dan Klink Memorial Car Show, the ninth annual event sponsored by the High Country Classics Car Club, will be held Saturday, June 15, at the Watauga County Human Services Center (Lois E. Harrill Senior Center), located at the corner of West King Street and Poplar Grove Road Connector in Boone.

Registration will be held from 8 a.m. till noon and awards distributed by 3 p.m. for the Top 50 cars, Best Chevrolet, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best GM (excludes Chevrolet) and Club participation.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings will be available for lunch. A 50/50 drawing will be held in addition to door prizes, cake walks and live entertainment. Registration is $20 per vehicle. Admission is $3 for spectators 12 and older. No pets or alcohol are permitted.

Prospective club members with an interest in classic autos are invited to attend the club’s regular meetings at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at Poplar Grove Baptist Church south of Boone.
