The Fall Boone Handmade Market will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts on the Appalachian State University campus.

The event is presented by the Arts Management Organization, an Appalachian State University student club, and is sponsored by ASU’s Turchin Center for the Visual Arts.

More than 90 emerging and established artists of the High Country will be selling their locally homemade goods at this indoor arts market.

The artists will be selling everything handmade, from sweet treats to jewelry, sculpture, pottery, various arts and crafts and more.

“This is a great opportunity to support your community, buy locally and add unique handmade gifts to your holiday shopping list,” a market organizer said.

All vendors accept cash and checks, and some are able to able to accept credit cards.

This event not only supports the High Country’s local art scene, but acts as the club’s main fundraiser to support similar art events that the club hosts on campus and around town, the organizer said.
