Benefit concert for children’s hospital May 3
A group of music therapy students is tuning up for a good
On May 3, the Appalachian Music Therapy Student Association will host a concert in Rosen Concert Hall in the Broyhill Music Center to benefit Levine Children’s Hospital. The show starts at 8 p.m.
The concert, “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes: A Disney Benefit Concert,” will consist of ensembles, including a jazz combo, brass octet and a cappella groups, as well as soloists who will perform different variations of Disney songs.
Donations will be accepted, and baked goods will be sold before and after the show. All proceeds will benefit Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
