Appalachian Summer hosts ‘My Fair Lady’ getaway
What’s summertime without a day trip?
As part of the upcoming An Appalachian Summer Festival, theater-lovers will have the chance to head off the mountain for Triad Stage’s production of “My Fair Lady” Sunday, May 5.
According to event organizers, a university motor coach will depart from the University Hall parking lot, located at 400 University Hall Drive in Boone, for Greensboro promptly at 11 a.m. May 5. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch to eat on the bus.
Following the 2 p.m. performance, the group will dine at Greensboro’s O. Henry Hotel, before heading back to Boone.
A $100 all-inclusive ticket covers round-trip bus fare, the performance ticket and the post-show dinner at the O. Henry.
