Regal Cinema 7 - Now in 3-D!

After years of "Sorry, not shown in 3-D" disclaimers, Boone's Regal Cinema 7 has finally entered the next dimension.

According to local cinema sources, three of Regal's seven cinemas will sport digital 3-D projectors by the end of this week.

With the first installed Monday, Piranha 3-D was the theater's first digital 3-D feature, and with Hollywood's current trend of making everything and their mothers in 3-D, there'll be plenty more to come.

But, as with Regal's off-mountain counterparts, it comes with a price. Expect an additional $3.50 tagged on to matinee and general admission prices.

All the same, we're happy to see Regal gear up. And in the vein of Piranha 3-D, it's about bloody time.
