Along with Tervis drinkware, the Blowing Rock potters extraordinaire will host a “Meet the Artist” event at the Martin House in downtown Blowing Rock May 18.
From 1 to 4 p.m., the meet-and-greet will let visitors meet renowned artist Caroline Simas in the Martin House courtyard. Simas will be available to sign her work, as well as talk about her adventures as a licensed artist.
Bolick & Traditions Pottery carries a vast selection of Simas’s work, licensed through Demdaco, including wall art, garden picks, blessing boxes and more.
“The artful inspirations of renowned artist Caroline Simas blend well with the Tervis lifestyle, where everything is ‘always full of fun,’” an event organizer said. “Simas’s playful designs made it easy to collaborate with Tervis on a line of quality drinkware that reflects the passions and personalities of both Simas and Tervis.”
Fans of Simas’s artwork, as well as Tervis drinkware, can choose from an assortment of inspirational designs and messages, including: “Love Beyond Measure,” “Life is Beautiful” and “Live Your Passion Out Loud.”
The Caroline Simas line of Tervis drinkware is available for purchase at the new Tervis store, located in the Martin House on Main Street in downtown Blowing Rock.
The “Meet the Artist” event will take place in the Martin House courtyard, and door prizes, freebies and a grand prize will be offered.
