Frank Warren is the keeper of 500,000 secrets from people all over the world.

As the author and curator of the PostSecret Project, Warren shares his experiences as “the most trusted stranger in the America” in a multimedia lecture Oct. 8 at Appalachian State University’s Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts.

The PostSecret Project is a collection of highly personal and artfully decorated postcards mailed anonymously from around the world, displaying soulful secrets that might otherwise never be voiced. The postcards are regularly posted online at Warren’s blog, http://www.postsecret.com.

Warren thinks of PostSecret as a safe and anonymous “place” where people can hear unheard voices and share untold stories. For more information, including some examples, visit his blog at http://www.postsecret.com.
