Hands Gallery in downtown Boone is featuring the works of two fiber artists Nov. 14 to 28.

Gallery members Susan Graham and Jane Campbell have created woolen items for many years. Their longtime friendship has allowed each of them to grow in their medium.

Graham is a member of the Watauga County Farmers’ Market, where she sells her fiber creations, along with plants from her Laureland Greenhouse.

Campbell is a member of the N.C. State Fair’s Village of Yesteryear, where she demonstrates and sells handmade felt items and knit and fulled items.

According to Hands, “Their knit, woven and felt projects reflect their own styles and imagination, while making useful things to wear and enjoy.”

The hats, scarves, mittens and felted flower brooches are on display at the gallery, along with many other works from other gallery members.

Hands Gallery is located at 543 W. King St. in downtown Boone. For more information, call (828) 262-1970, or visit http://www.handsgallery.org.
