Exhibit Revisit
Do you have a museum-quality item that you wish had been included in the opening exhibits at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum?
Perhaps you have a Daingerfield painting, a Blowing Rock souvenir, Mayview Manor memorabilia? Old letters or postcards from family members? Some Green Park Inn photos?
Now is the time to dust them off and call BRAHM.
The museum has decided to hold an “Exhibit Revisit” to allow community members to display their collectibles from Jan. 26 through Jan. 29 in the Atrium Gallery.
The weekend will allow overlooked or unknown pieces to be viewed by the public.
Items should be dropped off on Monday, Jan. 23, and picked up Monday, Jan. 30. Those taking part must contact the museum at (828) 295-9099, ext. 3005, or email (sunny@blowingrockmuseum.org) by Friday, Jan. 20, to have item included.
The mission of the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum is to promote the visual arts, history and heritage of the mountains through educational programs, exhibitions and significant permanent collections.
