Best of the Blue Ridge & Beyond
"Glass Shell" by Herman Leonhardt
Autumn leaves aren't the only things peaking around the mountains.
At Morning Star Gallery, the paintings, prints, glass and jewelry are also in full color, as new offerings grace the gallery's walls and displays.
The autumn collection of regional fine art and American craft offers gallery visitors an opportunity to see original landscapes by Linda Leeger Stokes, Greg Osterhaus, Jonas Gerard, Dick and Louise Keranen, and Trena McNabb, and prints by Gene Taylor and Wes Waugh.
Rounding out the artistic offerings for the wall are the shadowbox leaves and the paintbox leaves by Brad Stroman. Stroman's paintings are being shown concurrently at the Hudson River Museum in New York.
Visitors to Morning Star Gallery will also find art glass, pottery, artisan jewelry and wooden treasures, all handcrafted in the USA with a special focus on Southern craftsmen.
The Best of the Blue Ridge and Beyond runs now through Nov. 30.
Morning Star Gallery is located at 257 Sunset Drive in Blowing Rock.
