Autumn art at Morning Star Gallery
'Hovering' by Brad Stroman
It's autumn at the Morning Star Gallery in Blowing Rock, which is now featuring the oil paintings of Brad Stroman.
Stroman's view of autumn is painted in trompe l'oile technique, meaning the painting "tricks the eye" into believing it's seeing a three-dimensional object.
Stroman's work will be showcased at Morning Star throughout the season, and gallery owner Maggie Wilson invites all to see for themselves. "The one titled 'Changes' is terrifically effective," she said.
