ArtWalk welcomes Nancy Whaley
Nancy Whaley’s artwork is now on display and available for sale at ArtWalk in downtown Boone.
A recent addition to ArtWalk’s artists, Nancy Whaley offers
subjects ranging from portraits of people or animals to murals, landscapes, seascapes and
still-life.
Whaley said she loves the richness of oils and acrylic paints and has painted by
commission for many years. She also enjoys creating oil portraits that become treasured heirlooms
to pass on for generations.
Whaley has more than 35 years of experience working with
portraiture and has painted everything from family pets to congressmen. She said there is no project
too big or small and that she’s eager to please her clients with hopes of achieving what they
envision.
Whaley said she loves what she does, as she likes to capture what is
beautiful and unique about every person within her work.
“Whaler is delighted to share her
work through ArtWalk with hopes of reaching out to the Boone community and the high country,” a
gallery spokesperson said.
